The Problem
A manufacturer having difficulties with its internal tube process came to Shelby Welded Tube with a critical problem: They needed parts in 2 days or faced the costly potential of shutting down their automotive OEM customer.

The Solution
First, Shelby Welded Tube was able to deliver tubing in 2 days, within the stringent quality specifications needed in this critical application. As a result, the OEM plant shut down was averted. As a permanent win/win solution, Shelby Welded Tube developed a financial arrangement that included the purchase of the customer’s tube producing equipment, combined with a long-term contract to continue supplying tubing for this critical application.
